Welcome to Sarah Elizabeth Antiques. With more than 30 years of experience in historical fashion and artifacts, I hand-select authentic pieces from the 18th to the mid 20th century.

From Civil War letters to Regency gowns, each item is chosen for its historical integrity, quality, and beauty.

A resource for museums and collectors

I work with museums, curators, historians, and private collectors around the world. Over the years, my collection has included pieces deaccessioned from institutions such as the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, and the National Heritage Museum.

My work was also featured in a Civil War special of History Channel’s American Pickers.

A background in fashion

I hold a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). My studies also took me to France and Italy, where I met with executives and designers from fashion houses including Gucci, Versace, Missoni, and Yves Saint Laurent.

My shops bring together garments, papers, and objects that offer a tangible connection to the past.

Sarah Elizabeth Antique Fashion House offers original garments, textiles, and accessories dating from the early 1700s to the mid-1900s.

Sarah Elizabeth Antique Papers offers antique documents, handwritten letters, early photographs, and books.
