About Sarah Elizabeth Antiques

Curated History you can hold

With over 30 years of experience in historical fashions and artifacts, I founded Sarah Elizabeth Antiques to offer authentic treasures from the 18th to mid 20th century. Each item—from Civil War letters to Regency gowns—is hand-selected to ensure historical integrity, quality, and beauty.

My clients include international museums, curators, and private collectors. My work was featured on History Channel’s American Pickers in a Civil War special viewed by over 6.6 million people—highlighting my role as a trusted source for rare and original pieces of American history.

Fashion Education Rooted in Excellence

I hold a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and studied in France and Italy, where I met with executives and designers from fashion houses including Gucci, Versace, Missoni, and Yves Saint Laurent.

Shops Built with Care

The shop's collections are my way of preserving and sharing the past—offering genuine antique and vintage garments, ephemera, and artifacts that carry their own stories. Through two curated collections, I invite you to explore history and shop the objects that survived it:

Whether you're a historian, costume professional in Hollywood or on Broadway, museum curator or private collector, thank you for visiting and please enjoy. I hope you find something extraordinary here!

Thank you kindly,
Sarah
